Goodbye London

I'm sorry to leave London. I can't believe we were there for 3 days. There was not a minute of rest but we saw so much. Yesterday we left and took a cab to the train station and on to Southampton to the ship. Interesting story ...... I brought a mini stapler with us so we could attach the ship tickets to the handles of our luggage before we boarded the ship. Sandy put the stapler on the outside bag of her luggage because she had more room . Well, they went to get on the ship, their luggage had been scanned and the ship saw, what the seemed to believe, a weapon so they were escorted to a private room to be interrogated for approximately 45 min or so. Of course they were very polite as the British are. Finally the stapler ended up being the problem. Apparently staplers are a big NoNo. We were wondering if there has been problems in the past with people on the ship being stapled to furniture or the walls. Sandy and Mike were exonerated but a sticker is now on their Princess card , whatever that means . Anyway , all 6 of us are now settled in. It is Saturday at 1:15pm. We have had a time change and am now 6 hrs ahead. Temp 63 degrees. We hope all of you are well and fine.
